Coach Kat has almost 17 years of playing experience, including 2 years of NJCAA volleyball. Coach Kat started out as a Libero/DS but soon got to experience every position, even playing a middle hitter at the tall height of 5’5”. Aside from 6s, she has found enjoyment in reverse-coed 4s and grass doubles (her favorite).
She is entering her fifth year of coaching and her second season with MVP, coaching MVP 12 Black alongside Coach Phil in 2024-2025.
She graduated from University of Maryland, College Park with a B.S. in Information Science and is currently working as a Project Manager for Fannie Mae.
Coach Kat is still playing volleyball with her friends today and has always loved coaching. She is ready for this season and can’t wait to meet everyone.
