Coach Kevin Case is the Assistant Coach for MVP 18 Red and brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the team. A standout player at Winston Churchill High School from 2015 to 2018, Coach Kevin also competed for the MVP Boys Club in his final high school years before moving on to play for UCLA Men’s Club Volleyball from 2018 to 2022. Currently, he plays for DC Dynasty in the VLA.
Coach Kevin’s coaching career began with MOCO Girls Volleyball, where he served as Co-Head Coach for the U17 and U18 teams from 2022 to 2024. In 2024, he joined Winston Churchill High School’s Boys Volleyball team as an assistant coach. During his time at UCLA, Coach Kevin took on leadership roles as the President and Coach of the UCLA Men’s Club Volleyball team (2021-2022). Beyond coaching, he worked behind the scenes as the technical coordinator for UCLA’s Division 1 Women’s Volleyball team and trained with their Women’s Beach Volleyball team.
A graduate of Winston Churchill High School (Class of 2018) and UCLA (Class of 2022), Coach Kevin is now a Full Stack Software Engineer. He has strong connections within the MVP program, having played under Coach JJ Rathnam and coached alongside him. Kevin is also close friends with Coach Richard Tan and currently plays with teammates Coach Liam Morris and Coach Alex Shafer.
