Coach Austin Huang is currently an assistant coach for MVP 14 Black. He has previously served as the Head Coach for MVP 13 Black for the 2023–2024 season. His playing career began with MVP (1996–1997) and Wootton High School (1995-1997), where he graduated in 1997. He went on to play for the University of Maryland College Park (UMCP) Men’s Club Team from 1997 to 2001, and later competed in 9-man volleyball for Hip Sing and MVP Sixpack as well as various CHRVA B/BB Men’s teams as a middle blocker.
Coach Austin’s coaching journey includes serving as a counselor at Phil Huang’s WSCLC Summer Volleyball Camp for multiple years, Assistant Coach for MVP 12 Black (2021–2022), and Head Coach for MVP 12 Black (2022–2023). His current role as Head Coach of MVP 13-Black reflects his dedication to player development and his passion for the sport.
Professionally, Coach Austin is the Associate Director of Drug Product Process Development & Validation at Supernus Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where he brings a wealth of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
