Here is information about volleyball opportunities in Summer 2025

When?
June 18th to July 30th
Tuesdays, 6pm – 8pm (dark)

Where?
Patsy Huson Ballfield
20300 Fulks Farm Rd, Montgomery Village, MD 20886

Who?
7th – 12th graders (courts based on skill level)

What?
Unstructured grass volleyball
Ranges from doubles to 6s (depends on number of players)

Cost?
No registration required
Free to MVP and MVSA club players

Weather?
Play depends on predicted weather and admin’s discretion, check MVSA homepage for updates

When?
Tryouts are taking place on May 4th and 11th, but contact CYC if those dates have passed
CYC’s season lasts the entire summer (May through August)

Where?
This year, tournaments will be held in Maryland (DC Mini, August 2nd-3rd) and New York for the New York Mini (Mid-July) and Nationals (Labor Day Weekend)

Who?
Any volleyball player of middle school age or older
Must be of Asian descent

What?
Chinese 9man is a traditional variation of volleyball, based off of 6s volleyball with varied rules.
