Coach Mo began his volleyball journey in his freshman year at John F. Kennedy High School (2019-2023), where he significantly contributed to the coed team, helping secure two county championships. In his junior year, he expanded his experience by joining MVP Volleyball Club, competing on the 17s team and further developing his skills and competitive edge. Following his graduation, he attended Marymount University for one semester, where he played on the Men’s Volleyball team.
In addition to his playing experience, Coach Mo has made strides in coaching. Earlier this year, he took on the role of assistant coach for the girls’ 14s team at Platform Volleyball Club, where he focused on skill development and fostering teamwork. He also led a Gaithersburg recreation team, emphasizing sportsmanship and player growth. This past summer, he enhanced his coaching repertoire by conducting summer camps at both Marymount University and Maryland Juniors.
Currently, Coach Mo is an active college student at Montgomery College, pursuing a major in Business Administration. He is dedicated to balancing his academic pursuits with his passion for volleyball, both as a player and a coach.
