Growing up in upstate New York, Sara Williams played varsity and club volleyball throughout high school. She was selected to represent the Mid-Hudson Valley at the New York Empire State Games during her junior year. In her senior year, she earned the titles of All-Section MVP and All-State for her outstanding performance.
In addition to coaching with MVP, coaches the Boys Varsity and Girls Junior Varsity teams at Walter Johnson High School. During the summer, she coaches for the CYC women’s program in the 9-man volleyball scene.
Professionally, Sara is the Director of Policy for COVID-related provider investments at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. She lives in Kensington with her husband, Brian, and sons, Sam and John.
